Make up brush cleansing Day

Hi Ladies
It's the chore we all hate doing cleaning our make up brushes but #Penneys have made it an easier task with this 'make up brush cleansing mitt'.
This simple mitt has a hand strap making it so easy to use and with various rubber textures it really cleans out hard to reach areas on your brushes .Just apply your favourite brush cleanser I used one from Penneys /Primark PS range €2.50 and buff the dirt away.
So what are you waiting for get to your local Penneys store and give this a try you won't be disappointed.

Summer Days

Hi
Hope your all enjoying summer so far, today has been the hottest day so far reaching the 30's in some places and don't we just love it. We don't get these days very often in Ireland so everything stops and we just try make the most of it, no exception here everything was put a on hold we packed a picnic got some towels and off to the beach we went.

Summer fashion is my favourite and there is no exception when going to the beach. Today I chose this fabulous ( well I think so ) kaftan from #Primark there SS16 beachwear is spot on this year . This embroidered kaftan is €20 and I would have loved it for my trip to Ibiza but it wasn't available so delighted to give it an outing today.

One of the many things I love about Dublin is we are so close to the coast and I'm blessed Malahide is right on my doorstep. I love the beach here with its soft sand and beautiful views of Howth Head and Ireland's eye it really is the perfect place to lay your towel and have a picnic.

A few hours of soaking up the sun and the atmosphere and a walk along the waterfront and you feel who needs Spain.
Not a bad way to spend Tuesday.
Hope you all had a fabulous Tuesday and enjoyed the sun.

February Favourites

Can you believe it's March all ready and hopefully we are leaving all that nasty weather behind us and looking forward to springtime and all the nice things it brings .

Winter is hard on our skin we are not out and about in the fresh air as much but stuck in with the central heating on ,so I have tried a few new products this winter for my skin and I love the results.

Firstly and I have this product from before Christmas so it has been well and truly tested it's The Boots Cleansing brush I absolutely love how cleansed your skin feels and looks when you use it as part of your night time cleansing routine, then add a few drops of  Botanics Triple Age Renewal Facial Oil to your face and your skin is hydrated while you sleep .....you will look radiant in the morning......I do not lie

New to the market is Garnier's new Skin Active moisture bomb with super-hydrating antioxidants and SPF10 so its great for repairing all the heat damage from central heating and though we have no sun SPF is still essential in winter . I can see definite results in my skin since I have started to use this and it is perfect under your make up too. Garnier have introduced the night version of this cream so that's my next purchase.

Next up is Nivea's cellular anti age eye cream again a new product that I have tried and loving the results it's light weight formulation makes it easy to be absorbed around the delicate eye area and reduces those fine lines and dare I say wrinkles while refreshing and moisturising also.

Who doesn't love Marrisa Carter and her Cocoa Brown products. This body scrub Tough Stuff is fab if you love your false tan and I do. It's a 3 in 1 body scrub that removes stubborn old tan and prepares it for a fresh application and even if you don't apply tan it is a great exfoliating body treatment so it gets the tumbs up from me.

All we hear now is blending and conturing and if like me you can't contur we all have to blend so this blending sponge and brush from Penneys/ Primark is great. The new improved brushes from the PS range has everything from foundation to blusher brushes and everything in between so next time your in store make sure to pick some up.

Happy springtime ladies ....till the next time
