Make up brush cleansing Day

Hi Ladies
It's the chore we all hate doing cleaning our make up brushes but #Penneys have made it an easier task with this 'make up brush cleansing mitt'.
This simple mitt has a hand strap making it so easy to use and with various rubber textures it really cleans out hard to reach areas on your brushes .Just apply your favourite brush cleanser I used one from Penneys /Primark PS range €2.50 and buff the dirt away.
So what are you waiting for get to your local Penneys store and give this a try you won't be disappointed.

Summer Days

Hi
Hope your all enjoying summer so far, today has been the hottest day so far reaching the 30's in some places and don't we just love it. We don't get these days very often in Ireland so everything stops and we just try make the most of it, no exception here everything was put a on hold we packed a picnic got some towels and off to the beach we went.

Summer fashion is my favourite and there is no exception when going to the beach. Today I chose this fabulous ( well I think so ) kaftan from #Primark there SS16 beachwear is spot on this year . This embroidered kaftan is €20 and I would have loved it for my trip to Ibiza but it wasn't available so delighted to give it an outing today.

One of the many things I love about Dublin is we are so close to the coast and I'm blessed Malahide is right on my doorstep. I love the beach here with its soft sand and beautiful views of Howth Head and Ireland's eye it really is the perfect place to lay your towel and have a picnic.

A few hours of soaking up the sun and the atmosphere and a walk along the waterfront and you feel who needs Spain.
Not a bad way to spend Tuesday.
Hope you all had a fabulous Tuesday and enjoyed the sun.

February Favourites

Can you believe it's March all ready and hopefully we are leaving all that nasty weather behind us and looking forward to springtime and all the nice things it brings .

Winter is hard on our skin we are not out and about in the fresh air as much but stuck in with the central heating on ,so I have tried a few new products this winter for my skin and I love the results.

Firstly and I have this product from before Christmas so it has been well and truly tested it's The Boots Cleansing brush I absolutely love how cleansed your skin feels and looks when you use it as part of your night time cleansing routine, then add a few drops of  Botanics Triple Age Renewal Facial Oil to your face and your skin is hydrated while you sleep .....you will look radiant in the morning......I do not lie

New to the market is Garnier's new Skin Active moisture bomb with super-hydrating antioxidants and SPF10 so its great for repairing all the heat damage from central heating and though we have no sun SPF is still essential in winter . I can see definite results in my skin since I have started to use this and it is perfect under your make up too. Garnier have introduced the night version of this cream so that's my next purchase.

Next up is Nivea's cellular anti age eye cream again a new product that I have tried and loving the results it's light weight formulation makes it easy to be absorbed around the delicate eye area and reduces those fine lines and dare I say wrinkles while refreshing and moisturising also.

Who doesn't love Marrisa Carter and her Cocoa Brown products. This body scrub Tough Stuff is fab if you love your false tan and I do. It's a 3 in 1 body scrub that removes stubborn old tan and prepares it for a fresh application and even if you don't apply tan it is a great exfoliating body treatment so it gets the tumbs up from me.

All we hear now is blending and conturing and if like me you can't contur we all have to blend so this blending sponge and brush from Penneys/ Primark is great. The new improved brushes from the PS range has everything from foundation to blusher brushes and everything in between so next time your in store make sure to pick some up.

Happy springtime ladies ....till the next time

Monday Beauty by Rimmel

Rimmel what can I say .....show me a make-up bag ladies that does not contain at least one product from this fab afforable range.I have always been a fan of Rimmel products and recently have bought and tested two new products and so wanted to share my findings and also tell you about my all time buys from this great range.Rimmel is available in most leading pharmacies and all Boots stores which run 3 for 2 promotions from time to time......so let me start.

Firstly I have tried their new Good To Glow highlighter and what a find, this lightweight liquid with reflecting pigments gives your face instant radiance, it can worn alone or blended with your foundation giving an all over glow to your look.

Summer is over and the tan is fading so its back to false tan and this Rimmel Sun Shimmer self tan mousse is a must try. The  velvety mousse (I use a tanning mitt) goes on so easy and dries in minutes. It develops in one hour and gives a natural streak free tan that lasts for a week and even better it doesn't have that false tan smell.

I have always loved their range in lipsticks but my favourites at the moment is their new nude range by Kate. There are six shades available in this range of long lasting lippy so embrace the new nude trend and be chic and stylish just like Kate.

Staying with the Kate range the Salon Pro polish is the best polish I have ever tried, you can achieve salon style nails from home. There are a great choice of colours to choose from with a specially designed brush that makes it easy to apply and the finish is gel like nails with a high shine apperance that lasts for days I have got two weeks out of these polishes that are chip resistant.

Lastly we all love long eye lashes, smokey eyes and long lashes are all the look and this can now be achieved with wonder'Full Wake Me Up mascara. It has a precision brush that gives volume lift and lenght to your lashes with vitamin and cucumber extract it gives you the wide awake look.

Those are my favourite Rimmel products ladies which ones have you tried ???

Monday you beauty

It's Monday again not everyone's favourite day but after over indulging over the weekend it's a great day to give your skin some TLC.
I know most blogs are about new skin care products for us all to try but sometimes it's nice to hear about ones that have been tried and tested and much loved so for me it has to be The Boots Botanics range, here are some of the products I love.
Firstly it's their lightweight active serum which easily absorbs and and leaves your skin feeling radiant and super soft and over time leaves your skin tone looking brighter ,I have been using this for over a week and love how my skin feels and looks, next I use their All Bright balm which gives an instant pick-me-up effect (and who doesn't need that on a Monday) to your face giving you a healthy glow always a great look for those make-up free days.
Another favourite for me is their purifying face scrub which buffs away any impurities and flaky skin ,use this scrub 2-3 times a week after cleansing for perfect skin.

One of the reasons I wanted to share this blog was to show you all the hot cloth cleansing balm which was spoken about by #MarissaCarter on #Xposé recently, this is a wonder product from The Botanics range and is my all time favourite cleanser your face feels super clean and fresh after using this, it's like leaving your beauty salon after having a facial. It is out of stock at the moment but will be available soon I have been assured from my local branch of Boots so keep a look out ....you too will love it.

The Botanics All Bright range has the power from plants and extracts from herbs and is available from Boots.ie ,Boots stores or the boots app which is just the best way to shop for your favourite Boots products and the best news most of The Botanics All Bright range is on a price promotion...so ladies get buying.

Friday Fashion

Friday is always a busy day for me, I'm out and about for most of the day so I always like to dress smart casual with a great price range of course so where better to start than @Primark/Penneys.
Today I have chosen this fresh summer look, skinny jeans €8.00 and a crepe cami top €5 this colour is from their summer range but never fear they have fab colours for A/W15 .The white blazer is also from Penneys but last season. The bag is from The Kilkenny Shop which I purchased during their recent summer event .These scandals a friend spotted in Heatons and knew I would love them (she knows me so well ) I also loved the price tag €20 and as they are white and tan they go with so many outfits .
Here is a look at those A/W crepe cami tops that smarten up any outfit,I love the warm colours the wine is my personal favourite but at only €5 you can have them all.
They are so simple but look so smart, wear them under a blazer or Kimono and skinny jeans, speaking of which I picked up these fab dark denim pair today for €13. Love the new denim range from Penneys at the moment and as they are now doing different leg lengths there perfect for us not so tall ladies.

That's my Friday Fashion what's your ??

Happy weekend

Hi ladies it's been awhile hope your enjoying your summer although in Ireland we have been lacking the sun this year ...But on the bright side we always have #Penneys to cheer us up.
A recent visit to my favourite branch O 'Connell Street had to be shared.I always tend to pick this store as I find they have a great selection of sizes on display and if not a helping staff member to help you out .

Penneys have a fab range of jeans this season and these ripped ones at €17 are a bargain love the fit too.... I have paired them with this halter neck €11 and beige high shoe €10 although some colours have since been reduced .
Next it's a summer must have skinny white jeans €7 and I loved this border print vest top €11 which autumnal colours will also be great with dark skinnys and ankle boots for A/W15.
I wore this colourful top €11 last weekend and was stopped 3 times and asked where I purchased ....I love the cut away shoulder it has a very classy look .
This has to be the bargain of the season striped blazer reduced to €9 brown vest top €3 tan belt €3 and white skinny jeans €7 total outfit €22 ....Now that's my type of bargain ....more bargains I picked up in O' Connell Street was this dressy grey longer back vest top €5 and pink necklace €2 which go really well together (sorry the camera doesn't pick up the colour very well)
